This tour isn’t about rushing. It’s about immersion. Expect to spot crocodiles sunbathing, herons stalking prey, monkeys leaping overhead, and kingfishers darting past like tiny flashes of color.
With a naturalist guide onboard, every sighting is a story, every turn in the river a chance for discovery. It’s one of the most peaceful yet wildlife-rich adventures in the Osa Peninsula.
The boat ride is done at a casual speed to allow time for observation and questions.
Our groups are limited to10 people + the guide, to ensure a personal and immersive experience.

Getting on/off the boats requires stepping into the water, sometimes knee-deep or higher.
Protect your electronics and sensitive belongings with a dry bag. Waves and boat movement may cause water splashes. Wear clothes that can get wet and dry quickly.
It is a tropical rainforest — rain is part of the experience.
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule tours if heavy rain or strong winds make it unsafe. Expect bumpy boat rides depending on the weather.
Expect flexible timing — this is real jungle, not Disneyland.
Trail conditions, tide levels, and wildlife activity can all affect the schedule. Boat rides may be longer or bumpier than expected. Just relax and enjoy the adventure.
Let us know in advance if anyone in your group has back problems or is pregnant.
We’ll do our best to assign appropriate boat seats and make your journey as comfortable as possible.
