1-Day Corcovado Tour to La Leona – from Puerto Jiménez

Travel by 4×4 from Puerto Jiménez to Carate and hike along the wild Pacific coast to La Leona Station. Explore rainforest trails, discover signs of wildlife and experience one of Corcovado National Park’s most adventurous land-based routes.

🌴 Tour Overview

🌿What makes this tour unforgettable?

This full-day adventure begins with an early shared 4×4 journey from Puerto Jiménez to Carate, passing through remote communities, rivers and rainforest landscapes along the southern Osa Peninsula.

From Carate, the experience continues on foot along the wild Pacific coastline toward La Leona Station, one of the most scenic land entrances to Corcovado National Park. After completing the park registration, you will explore rainforest and coastal trails toward the Madrigal area with a certified local guide.

Unlike a boat-based visit to Sirena, this tour is built around hiking, changing landscapes and the feeling of entering Corcovado step by step. Along the route, your guide will help you identify wildlife, tracks, plants, birds and the many subtle signs that reveal what is happening inside the forest.
