Dolphin and whale watching tour in uvita (this section is currently being updated)

The Whale watching tour in Uvita is a perfect activity for whale lovers, since the this coast is always visit by two different groups of humpback whales from the south and north poles. This whales come on a long journey to reproduce or find a mate in calm and warm waters. They do not eat anything during the trip back and forth, so they must eat enough before to create a lot of fat to use it as energy for their long trip and in the case of the mothers to feed their babies until they are ready to go all the way back. It is estimated that a bay whale can grow up to 3 centimeters and gain around 35 kilos of weight everyday.
